Honestly? We're not convinced we even need an "About Us" page. Surely it's all already there in our name, – One Design Place.

However, our web designer (we didn't build this website — we're too busy making dream kitchens and bathrooms a reality for Houston Homeowners!) insists people want to know our story. So we'll give it our best shot.

How We Started

One Design Place is a locally owned company with more than 20 years of experience remodeling homes across Houston. We specialize in kitchen and bathroom remodels, custom cabinetry, and full home design — and we've spent two decades getting the details right.

The company was founded by Cynthia Cannizzaro, an interior designer and contractor who's been designing and building homes people love for over 20 years. Cynthia studied interior design at Louisiana State University, and she built her career on a simple belief: a home should be a place you actually enjoy spending time in. Get that right, and it changes how everyday life feels.

That focus on the details has grown One Design Place into one of Houston's trusted remodeling teams. Every job is fully insured. Every surface gets our full attention. If it isn't right, it isn't finished.

One of the biggest reasons people choose us is that everything runs through one team. You're not left managing a roster of designers, carpenters, plumbers, and electricians, or wondering who to call when you have a question.
